The idea was to integrate a subwoofer into the Capella. Powerful bass is achieved by using a bass reflex cabinet. In this case a bass reflex channel consisting of rectangular boards is fitted at the rear panel. That's Capella Plus.
The side-mounted Mivoc AWM 104 is driven by a Mivoc AM 80 amplifier module.
Excerpt of the review in Hobby HiFi 3/2007: "The powerful sound by the Capella Plus is first-class. . The clear and beautifully balanced sound reproduction is supported by an almost endless yet bone dry bass. Already at lower levels this bass is exceptionally clear and reveals even the smallest details. The soloists can be located with extreme ease; they make the air vibrate and are almost three-dimensional in appearance. If you are using a valve amp you need an impedance correction, already included with our high-end kit. The impedance correction contains - one 6.8 Ohm ceramic resistor with 20W, - one 33 uF ELCO non-etched and - one 0.33 mH air core coil with 0.7 mm wire.
