... "From the beginning the Clou performed with a lot of pizzazz in our listening room. Every type of music, from pop to jazz and classic, was processed by this speaker with a lot of pep and punch. At the same time the Clou remained unobtrusive and in charge, also at higher volumes. Even violent dynamics couldn't get at her. The bass of this twin chamber speaker was dry and absolutely precise. Bass runs can easily be followed. To reproduce details like the picking of a double bass string is a piece of cake. Vocals are realistic and vivid and can even be differentiated at more complex choir recordings. Impressive: Philip Glass' mini epos "Echnaton", recorded with the Staatsorchester Stuttgart. Rumbling bass and a thundering male choir, overlaid with filigree synthesiser tones. The Clou manages to reproduce these different sounds with exemplary realism."

If you prefer to build the crossover yourself by mounting the components on wood, the following high quality components are supplied:

- 0.22 mH Mundorf air core coil, 0.7 mm wire
- 0.82 mH Mundorf air core coil, 0.7 mm wire
- 10 μF ELCO, non-etched
- 6.8 μF MKP capacitor
- 33 μF ELCO, etched
- 1 μF ELCO, non-etched
- 1.0 Ohm MOX10 (brown-black-gold)
- 2.2 Ohm MOX10 (red-red-gold)
