Sound review by Klang+Ton 2/2006: ..."Since Yello's "Baby" was still in our CD player, we decided to play "Blender", not necessarily food for thought, but a fare that might be swallowed the wrong way by some show-off speakers. After burbling along for a while, especially with uncritical mids and tops, the first two bass kicks hit our stomach. We thought we had fallen for an acoustic illusion. One of our colleagues who happened to enter the listening room, asked us whether we have listened to these small speakers without the subwoofer. Well, his search for bass support was to no avail. It wasn't any different when Mick Fleetwood battered his bass drum on "I'm So Afraid. Afterwards, we were spoiled by Lindsey Buckingham's acoustic guitar and Stevie Nick's delightful and captivating voice on "Landslide". But, even Shakira, Melanie C, Scooter and Fettes Brot were given the right treatment." ...
