Mo-Line is a 2 way transmissionline floorstanding speaker with drivers of high quality from Monacor.
Mo-Line is developed by Frank Kuhl.
The transmissionline enclosure improves the low-frequency response of the loudspeaker system.
In Mo-Line the Monacor SPH-220HQ, with a stable die-cast alu basket and a linear frequency response is used. In the upper frequency range the Monacor RBT-20 ribbon tweeter is used.
The crossover consists of a third order high-pass filter (18 dB per octave slope) for the tweeter. The woofer is connected to a one-and-half order low-pass filter. A series-resonant-circuit is smoothing the frequency response of the tweeter.
Between 40 Hz and 20000 Hz, the frequency response of this loudspeaker is very linear. The decay spectrum is nearly perfect. At low volume, i.e. 85 dB at 1 m, the nonlinear distortions are lower than 0.5% above 300 Hz and doesn't exceed 1,5% at 95 dB at 1 m .

Kit without cabinet, price per speaker EUR 398,69 excl. VAT: € 343.70 / $ 402.13
The high-end kit is delivered with baked varnish air core coils for minimizing microphonic effects. - The current flow through the coil creates a magnetic field which sets the reel of wire in motion. This motion induces a voltage in the coil which adds itself to the signal. The stiffer the reel of wire is, the less the signal will be altered. The capacitors for the tweeter are ClarityCap ESA 250V, ClarityCaps PX and Audaphon MKP capacitors.
Kit with high-end-crossover without cabinet, price per speaker EUR 451,33 excl. VAT: € 389.08 / $ 455.22
If you want to use a valve amplifier with this speaker an impedance correction should be employed. In this case the component quality is less important; therefore, we offer only one kit (upon request higher quality components are available).
If you prefer to mount the crossover components on a universal PCB instead on wood
PCB 220x155 mm, order no. I-8805002, price per unit: EUR 11,41 excl. VAT: € 9.84 / $ 11.51
We recommend one board per kit (two boards for a speaker pair)
