Monacor Soundbar is an two way F-A.S.T speaker (Fullrange and subwoofer technology) with drivers from Monacor. The kit is delivered with fullrange driver Monacor SPX-31M and woofer Monacor Raptor-6.

Monacor Soundbar has been developed by Steffen Kluge.

The crossover consists of a first order high-pass filter (6 dB per octave slope) for the fullrange driver. The woofers are connected to a first order low-pass filter (6 dB per octave slope).

The frequency response of this speaker is nearly linear, except above 8000 Hz. The decay spectrum shows two small artefacts at 1 and 2 kHz. At low volume, i.e. 85 dB at 1 m, the nonlinear distortions are below 1% above 300 Hz.

The high-end kit is delivered with a ferrite core coil with low DC resistance. Instead of electrolytic capacitors we deliver foil capacitors of ClarityCap.
