Variant Sub is a versatile subwoofer which complements the rest of the loudspeakers with a powerful and deep bass.

Variant Sub is a loudspeaker with drivers of CSS . Passive radiators provide deep bass.

The kit is delivered with a CSS SDX12 subwoofer and two passive radiators CSS APR12

The loudspeaker has been developed by Thorsten Fischer.

The frequency response of this speaker is nearly linear.

The decay spectrum as shown in the waterfall diagram is exemplary, free of any disturbing resonance.

At medium volume, i.e. 90 dB at 1 m, the nonlinear distortions are below 4% above 20 Hz.
