Visaton VOX 200 MHT

VOX 200 MHT: like all other VOX types this speaker features a side mounted bass driver, this time the AL 200 with aluminium cone. Front mounted is the MHT 12 magnetostat, surrounded by two TI 100 midrange drivers with phase plug and titanium diaphragm.

Compared to the VOX 200 the circuit diagram has been changed in such a way that crossover alteration is not worthwhile anymore. Therefore, we offer two crossover variations, both available in kit form.

The first one is of typical, higher Visaton quality - but has to be assembled. The second one, "Ultimo" contains components of a quality you usually wouldn't find in off-the-shelf speakers costing EUR 10.000.

The VOX 200 MHT shows the following characteristics: impressive and totally transparent tops due to magnetostat driver beautiful, slim design with excellent sound and a brand-new TI 100 titanium midrange driver by Visaton size (height x width x depth): 100 x 20 x 35 cm Technical data: frequency response: 35-35 000 Hz (-8dB, according to Visaton) power handling (continuous/programme): 120 / 180 Watt crossover frequencies: 200 Hz and 3000 Hz average SPL: 84 dB (1W/1m) impedance: 4 Ohm left: the VOX 200 pictured in Hobby HiFi 1/2001, where the loudspeaker was reviewed.
