El Diablo is a project with glass fibre compound cabinet featured in Klang+Ton. The cabinet is surely diabolical and the sound is supposed to be detailed, extremely precise and diabolical as well.
El Diablo comprises a Seas 27 TAFNC/D tweeter and a Seas W180 NAL bass driver with aluminium cone.
Excerpt from the review in Klang+Ton 2/2008: ... "Extremely precise and open and with a lot attention to details, that's how el Diablo is wandering between sweet and diabolical seduction. Although this is speaker is somewhat restrained initially, it soon becomes pretty dynamic and can handle quite a bit of power. Since the efficiency is just average one has to crank up the volume, resulting in an impressive punch in return. Bass is rather tight and deep, always controlled and matches the excellent midrange performance perfectly. The Seas twins are not only well balanced but also crystal clear and pure. Maybe it's only imagination, but the Norwegian engineers seemed to have integrated the lack of diaphragm damping into their overall design rather successfully. For paper and textile cone aficionados this might be just too much, but I can strongly recommend this speaker to precision fanatics and lovers of a headphone-type performance, even though hell sometimes freezes over."
