PA Full Range Kit EM-12 B

This EM-12 way speaker was designed for every day use in party rooms, for small discos and where small speakers with high sound pressure level are required. The kit comes with a building instruction for a 50 litre cabinet and the affordable Eminence Delta 12 driver.

The speaker doesn't come with a bass reflex tube but with a channel. This helps the rigidity of the cabinet and is also cheaper. The tweeter also comes from Eminence and kicks in at 4.5 kHz. The speaker stand socket may be fitted either in the bass reflex slot or just behind it. The Delta 12 is not as powerful as the Delta 12 LF, but sounds better due to the wider frequency range.

The kit consists of:

1 Eminence Delta 12 (or Delta 12 LF against additional charge)

1 Eminence EAPT 150 high frequency horn

8 x plastic corner protectors

1/2 mat nap foam for the rear wall

1/2 packet sealing tape for fitting the drivers

14 Allen screws 30x5 mm

1 1/2 metre cable with 2x 2.5 mm² diameter

Speakon terminal (other terminals upon request)

The building instruction for the crossover kit is included.

Due to its size the crossover components should be mounted on a separate wooden board. The crossover consists of:
1.4 mm IT air core coil 0.27 mH
2.0 mm IT air core coil 0.82 mH
MKP capacitor 3,3uF / 400V (2x)
MKP capacitor 10uF / 400V
resistor: 2.2 Ohm/20 Watt (2x)
resistor: 6.8 Ohm/20 Watt

EM-12 building instruction

The cabinet should be built using 19 mm MDF.

Please note: The baffle is recessed by 2 cm.
