Here you can find the measurements for the kit Samara.
 
The measurements are made with the Clio FW measurement system from Audiomatica
 
The measuring amplifier is a Clio QC-Box 5. This control unit performs a variety of tasks, e.g. controlling a laser, controlling turntables, etc.
 
For the measurements a calibrated Audiomatica Mic-01 with a length of 25 cm is used.

Frequency response

The frequency response on axis is increasing to higher frequencies. This is because the higher frequencies drop sharply under angle. Thus we gain two advantages:
 

• If the speakers are radiating straight into the room (i.e. not aimed directly at the listener), the frequency response will be linear.
• The filling of the room with energy is not decreasing for higher tones (the too weak reproduction under angle is compensated by the radiation on axis).
