The Wall Speaker

Elbe with Audaphon air motion transformer and Accuton mids woofer

The wall loudspeaker is always helpful if the room does not provide space for a compact or floorstanding loudspeaker. Both compact and wall-mounted loudspeakers reproduce sound optimally if they are located about one meter away from the wall.

Our wall speakers reproduce lifelike sound best if the speakers are mounted on the rear wall.

Below are some solutions by driver manufacturers.

Accuton

Thiel & Partner knows to produce aluminiumoxyde cones.
A floorstanding with Accuton chassis is Chorda.

Alcone by RCM

Alcone stands for aluminium cone and is a product range by RCM. The drivers feature a rigid cone and show, nevertheless, only a moderate resonance.

Alcone was founded by Ralph Mantel in 1988, offering metal cone drivers at reasonable prices. All drivers feature exceptional signal adherence and excellent decay attenuation. Alcone mids and bass drivers display an aluminium sandwich cone with a surface that has been hardened through anodising. The result is an enormously light and yet rigid cone, producing an airy and lifelike sound.
